In Ukraine, the topic of waste sorting is becoming increasingly popular. In order to learn more about why it is needed, how it happens in other countries, how to avoid unnecessary garbage and where you can hand over various recyclables, we invited activists from the organization "Ecology of the Industrial Region" to the technical school. Alexandra, a young EPR activist, shared amazing facts about garbage pollution in our country and our region, gave examples other European countries, told what of our everyday waste can be handed over, and what is not recyclable.
All this made the listeners think about the environment in which they will have to live, if nothing changes now. And the students were most interested in the opportunity to make money on garbage, and they gladly accepted the initiative of the student to sort waste.
