materials science, basics of product technology, basics of product design, equipment for product manufacturing basics of standardization and product quality management, artistic product design, drawing, painting, history of styles in art and costume, arts and crafts, economics, organization and production planning, etc. .

Primary positions:

technician-designer, confectioner, cutter, fashion designer, master of industrial training, manufacturer of patterns (garment production), sales consultant in a shop selling fabrics, a specialist in performing special work related to compositional and artistic design.

garment factories, garment factories, fashion studios, workshops for the manufacture and repair of clothing, educational institutions specializing in the training of workers for light industry

The possibilities of this specialty are unlimited: you can sew clothes for yourself and your friends, create modern and unique images, and in the future realize yourself in the fashion industry and become as famous as leading Ukrainian fashion designers - Diana Dorozhkina, Oksana Karavanska, Lilia Pustovit , Andre Tan.

   The specialty "Modeling and design of industrial products" was opened in KTT in 1999 on the basis of the related specialty "Sewing production", but has a pronounced artistic bias.

Before clothes appear on store shelves and boutiques, someone has to create them. When creating clothes, experts try to take into account not only fashion trends, but also the features of different figures to hide the shortcomings and emphasize the advantages of each person. These "charms" are carried out by means of a cut of products, fabric, color, furnish.  Special attention to solving this issue is paid by specialists in the manufacture of clothing to order. Technician-designer, fashion designer is simply obliged to have a sense of style and taste, to know the history of costume and the latest trends in modern fashion, to have a creative mindset, to look for new sources of inspiration. In addition, he must have appropriate theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the development of sketches, cutting and manufacturing of garments, as well as their decoration. This is what students majoring in "Modeling and design of industrial products" study.

   The hallmark of the college is a collection of clothing models made by students of this specialty, which to the applause of the audience during the screenings at many city and regional events. The level of creative work of students is highly appreciated by leading specialists in the field.

  After the technical school, graduates can continue their studies in a shortened program at a university of III-IV level of accreditation, namely:

• Kyiv National University of Technology and Design;

• Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy;

• Donbass State Pedagogical University and others
