The next elections of the President of Ukraine will take place in Ukraine soon, on March 31, 2019. A significant number of students from Kramatorsk College of Technology and Design will take part in the election process for the first time in their lives. It was for them that a number of election events were organized at the college.

    On March 13, an open meeting of the Young Lawyers Circle was held, during which young voters had the opportunity to get acquainted with the basic principles of suffrage in Ukraine, check on-line inclusion in the State Register of Voters, voting procedure and voter rights during the presidential election. . Particular attention was paid to legal liability for violations of election law.

    In order to consolidate knowledge of voter rights, students played in  intellectual board game "How to become president". During this event, they had the opportunity to reiterate the rights and responsibilities of the President of Ukraine, the mechanism for submitting documents for candidates for President of Ukraine to the Central Election Commission, voting, announcement of election results and more.

    The meeting with the representatives of the regional department of justice was also useful and informative. Specialists reminded students about the rights and responsibilities of voters, explained how the election process will take place and shared booklets "Voter's Memo".
