September 10, the birthday of a prominent Ukrainian film director, graphic artist, writer, public figure, founder of national cinema, Honored Artist (1939), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1950)  Alexander Dovzhenko  (1894-1956), known for the films "Zvenigorod" (1927), "Arsenal" (1929), "Earth" (1930), as well as unrealized scripts, which turned into full-fledged literary works - "Ukraine on Fire" (1943) and "Enchanted Gum" (1965), a number of events took place at the Kramatorsk College of Technology and Design. An exhibition of Dovzhenko's books was organized in the library, students got acquainted with Dovzhenko's biography and works and watched the film "Earth" at the "Cinema Evening".
