Today  Ukrainians wear embroidered shirts to work, study or just walk the streets of their cities.

    Students and teachers of Kramatorsk College of Technology and Design have traditionally joined this holiday. After all, an embroidered shirt is not just clothes. This is something very special: personal, native, sacred. Ukrainian embroidered shirt is a clothing symbol that indicates the spirituality and openness of the Ukrainian people.  The embroidered shirt is a unique miracle, when many colors are woven on one canvas into one rich and exquisite ornament. Embroidery - as a symbol that preserves its roots, identity, self-understanding. This is our history: mythology, religion, the ancient art of our ancestors, the soul of our people.

    So, wearing an embroidered shirt is not only to look good, it is to reveal your belonging to the Ukrainian people, its history, present and future.
