The Chernobyl tragedy

Today is 32 years old  since the Chernobyl disaster, the largest man-made accident in the history of nuclear energy. As a result of the explosion on April 26, 1986, the 4th reactor of the Chernobyl NPP was completely destroyed. The nuclear fuel fission products released from the destroyed reactor were carried by air currents over large areas, causing their radioactive contamination not only near the nuclear power plant, but also hundreds and even thousands of kilometers from the accident site.

In order to expand students' knowledge about this tragedy and  honoring  memory  tragically killed during the aftermath of the accident and  victims of the Chernobyl disaster in the Kramatorsk Technological College held an educational event "The Chernobyl Tragedy".
