The main activities of Kramatorsk Technological College are:
training of highly qualified specialists in accordance with the state order and contractual obligations;
cultural-educational, methodical, financial-economic, educational-production work.
Kramatorsk Technological Technical School trains junior specialists on the basis of basic and complete general secondary education in full-time and part-time forms of education. The technical school also accepts for the first (with a reduced period of study) or second year (with a standard period of study for vacant positions) persons who have obtained the educational qualification level "skilled worker" on condition of admission to a related specialty.
For 50 years of its existence, the educational institution has trained more than 14 thousand specialists to work at public service enterprises and other sectors of the economy, whose conscientious work confirms the high quality of training.
Upon graduation, graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies from 2-3 courses on a full-time or part-time basis in universities of III-II levels of accreditation, namely:
Kyiv National University of Technology and Design;
Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade. M. Tugan-Baranovsky;
Donbass State Machine-Building Academy;
Luhansk National University. T.G. Shevchenko;
Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy;
Donbass State Pedagogical University;
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics;
Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, etc.
The material and technical base of the technical school contains 25 classrooms, 8 laboratories, 2 computer classes, an assembly hall, a library, the book fund of which is 43,470 copies, the reading room of the library is connected to the Internet and has an electronic database of teaching materials. The school building also has a gym, and on the territory of the technical school there is a sports ground for playing volleyball, basketball, mini-football.
The technical school has a sectional dormitory with 396 seats. The hostel has 2 training sewing workshops and 2 training hairdressing salons. Provision of students with dormitory 100%.
The pedagogical staff of the technical school pays considerable attention to scientific and methodical work. Teachers of the technical school are constantly improving their professional level, studying and disseminating advanced pedagogical experience, working on the improvement of educational and methodological complexes in the disciplines, introducing computer technologies and innovative teaching methods into the educational process.
College students take an active part and achieve significant success in city and regional competitions, contests, festivals. The leading place in teaching and educating students is occupied by the development of their creative abilities, creative thinking. The art museum of the city of Kramatorsk has repeatedly held exhibitions of works of art by students, teachers and graduates of the college. The hallmark of the college is a collection of clothing models made by students majoring in "Modeling and design of industrial products", as well as works by students majoring in "Design". The level of creative work of students is highly appreciated by leading specialists in the field. Decent attention in the college is paid to sports education of students.
