During the rapid development of telecommunications, our brains were captured by the almighty World Wide Web. At the same time there is no need to think about this or that phenomenon, to investigate, to be convinced of own experience, to be interested  chemical, physical, atmospheric processes, plants, animals, the whole world. Of course, it's easier to press a key - and here are the answers to all the questions. But sitting in front of a monitor, you can hardly save plants and animals, invent a new element or substance, open  a star or even a planet. We need to act and create. This can explain the relevance of the subjects of the natural cycle in the learning process. The purpose of the week of natural and mathematical disciplines is to expand students 'knowledge of these sciences, the formation of students' correct idea of the place of fundamental disciplines in the system of sciences, in scientific knowledge and in practice;  solving the problem of interdisciplinary links of courses in mathematics, physics and astronomy, computer science and geography,  life safety, ecology and labor protection; development of interest in their study, instilling love for nature.

            During the week, the cycle commission conducts events, revealing the level of methodological work and its diversity.

      Thus, from March 26 to March 30, 2018, the week of the cycle commission of natural and mathematical disciplines was held at the technical school. Many different events were held during this week.

March 26

     The week began with the decoration of the hall of the college with posters and newspapers.

March 27

     Physics teacher Sergeeva LM and mathematics teacher Sumets OI conducted an intellectual physical and mathematical tournament "Eureka", which aimed to involve students in active cognitive activities, encourage them to solve problems, develop creative abilities and  love for these items. The tournament was attended by gr.46 - the team "Newtons" and gr. 36-A - the Pythagorean team.  The tournament consisted of 7 rounds: a presentation, "guess the scientist", a musical pantomime, a captain's competition, a demonstration of experiments, a blitz tournament, and puzzles, as well as a "magician with riddles" tournament for fans. The winner of the tournament was gr. 46. Congratulations !!!

March 28

            Mathematics teacher Gulyaeva LP  held a game "Lucky chance with gr. 57. This game sang rising  students' interest in mathematics, deepening  students' knowledge, professional orientation.

       Teacher of Mathematics and Informatics Shovkoplias GO held a competition on the speed of typing, which was attended by students gr.247, gr.46, 36-A, gr.67. The first place was taken by the student gr.67 Murashko Yu.,  the second - the student gr.36 Zaporozhets Sofia and the third - the student gr. 36 Fair Alice. An event "Interesting Mathematics" was also held.

       Teachers of physical education Polyakh OV and Zabuga RO held a sports event "Spring Entertainment" among first-year girls. The students took part in three stages of the competition: relay, skipping rope, tug of war. The competition was fun and interesting. As a result, the first place was taken by gr.57.

March 29

       Educational event "Ukraine without garbage" teacher Osadcha LV conducted in groups 46, 56, 247.

Students of 46 groups were divided into 6 groups and received assignments in advance. They collected material on selected topics and prepared presentations.

Research topics of students: "Research of landfills". (Victoria Bykova), "Methods of waste disposal: incineration, recycling. Advantages and disadvantages of each method. (Revenko Kateryna), "Sorting and disposal of plastic". (Hanina Alona), "Sorting and disposal of glass". (Ruslan Vozniuk), "Sorting and utilization of food waste". (Zadniprovska Olena), "Sorting and recycling of paper". (Maria Pashchenko)

      The purpose of this event was to draw students' attention to the problem of household waste; identifying the sources of environmental problems as a result of unreasonable actions of people.

     On the same day, an exhibition of students' works took place during a long break  "Garbage as a secondary raw material." Students made with their own hands a variety of interior items from recycled materials, which can decorate your home. The best works were by Skvortsov Serhiy - 66 gr., Myroshnychenko Kateryna - 46 gr., Moskvina Maria - 57 gr., Soynikova Oleksandra - 247 gr., Pashchenko Karina - 37 gr.

     As part of the week of natural sciences and mathematics,  in order to draw attention to the problems of energy use, energy saving, environmental protection, involving students in useful activities on energy and resource conservation,  teacher of life safety Pozdnyakova OV  conducted a multimedia interactive game "Energy saving is everyone's business".

            Teachers of natural sciences and mathematics thank everyone  students who took an active part in the preparation and conduct  activities of the subject week, as well as for the fact that the grain of science and knowledge germinates on fertile ground!
