Today, February 21, Ukraine and the world celebrate Mother Language Day. This holiday is of special significance for each country and is designed to help support the language as an expression of each person's cultural affiliation. It was launched by the General Conference of UNESCO at its 30th session in Paris in autumn 1999 and is noted annually since 2000.
On the eve of the World Mother Language Day, the Kramatorsk College of Technology and Design hosted an educational event "Mother Tongue Day" and a screening of the film "Forbidden". An exhibition of books "Language - the heart of the nation" was created in the reading room of the library.
KramKTD students joined the action # choose a native organized by the Youth Council of Kramatorsk with the support of the Office for Humanitarian Affairs of Kramatorsk City Council.
