   Clothing plays an important role in our lives. It has certain social properties, forms the appearance of man. If you want to dress people beautifully, you are sociable and you have the makings of a leader, then the specialization "Sewing Production" in the specialty "Light Industry Technologies" is excellent for you.

  Rapidly evolving technical progress constantly requires the modernization of the garment industry. The use of new materials, equipment entails the adjustment of technological modes and processing methods. And it is the technician-technologist who solves these important tasks as the organizer of the production of garments.

   The predominant type of activity is organizational work, namely:

• forming a package of materials for the manufacture of products;

• registration of design and technical documentation;

• design of streams and shops for the manufacture of garments;

• organization of cutting;

• organization of work of seamstresses, tailors;

• quality control of finished products;

• control over compliance with labor protection requirements.

  For 50 years, our technical school has been training qualified personnel for mass and individual tailoring - garment production technologists. The technical school has well-equipped specialized classrooms and laboratories, in which students receive theoretical knowledge under the guidance of highly educated teachers. Students acquire skills and professional skills during internships in specially equipped workshops of the college. Improving the level of theoretical and professional training takes place at basic enterprises during the technological and undergraduate practice.

  The specialty is in great demand in the labor market, so our graduates are easily employed in many activities. Also the received education of the technician-technologist has given the chance to many experts to open own enterprise on manufacture of clothes.

  After the technical school, graduates can continue their education in higher educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation according to the shortened program.
